Dr. Darrell C. Scott

In January of 1982, Dr. Darrell Scott was born again, answering the call that would ultimately drive him on a course leading to over thirty years of service to God and thousands upon thousands of souls receiving not only deliverance but also power. After years of faithful service in ministry and biblical studies, he and his wife, Dr. Belinda Scott conducted home Bible study fellowships, ministered in juvenile detention centers, abused women’s shelters, over the air on gospel radio, and even organized citywide anti-drug campaigns. Their tireless work in the field and their burden for souls became evident through these efforts and in 1990, the Scott’s received the vision for New Spirit Revival Center Ministries, a multi faceted ministry that would soon rise to become a dynamic voice reaching 100s of thousands of people with the Gospel.

After much prayer, deliberation, and sensitivity to the move of God, New Spirit Revival Center was officially chartered on the 14th day of February 1994, with 4 members and now has expanded and grown to a ministry supporting thousands upon thousands members to date.  Having humble beginnings as tenants of the historic Civic Center in the suburb of Cleveland Heights, OH, New Spirit Revival Center has grown into a multifaceted ministry reaching souls both locally and abroad. Facing opposition during their days as tenants of the Civic Center in Cleveland Heights, the Scott’s persevered in faith and went on to purchase the 120,000 square foot Civic Center in 2002.

But the story doesn’t find its completion there. Under the Scott’s leadership, New Spirit Revival Center has set out on a mission of biblical proportions, receiving a mandate from God to “restore {this house} to its former glory” and have since their acquisition done just that.  The Civic, a former jewish synagogue which housed the B’nai Jeshrun Congregation, is now the premier conference and events center in its region and serves as a multi purpose facility that also houses Covenant Childcare Learning and Enrichment Center (CCCUR), a daycare facility that has received high marks for quality and excellence from the City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County.

Already a 21st Century Theologian and Scholar in his own right, Dr. Darrell went on to receive his Doctorate of Divinity in November of 2004. His astute wisdom of religious and biblical studies not only qualifies him as a 21st Century Theologian but also serves to further amplify the fact that he is a gifted and anointed teacher and preacher of God’s Word.  His godly interpretation and knowledge of the Bible proclaims a message of hope, deliverance, salvation, and restoration. Dr. Scott’s astounding and noteworthy work ethic and business acumen has doubtlessly contributed to the over twenty-two years of success of New Spirit Revival Center and also sets him apart from his contemporaries. Drs. Darrell & Belinda Scott have since acquired 10 acres of prime real estate on Cleveland’s East Side for future development. In 2005, the Scott’s were privileged to purchase WCCD Radio 1000, an AM Radio Station, from Salem Communications, being the first church/ministry in the region to own and operate its own gospel based media platform/radio station.

He is the co-author of “Don’t Look Back!”; a book helping its reader to achieve victory over past hurts, defeats, failures, and disappointments, and receive the motivation necessary to reach towards the God ordained future before them. Dr. Scott is a prolific conference speaker, successful businessman, and humanitarian and has been commissioned to “turn this nation back to the Lord and lead God’s people to their promised inheritance.”
